Need an Umpire?

Please note: It is not the responsibility of the umpiring secretary to find you an umpire. Below are a few tips that might help should at the last minute your umpire becomes unavailable and you have no-one to fill the gap.

Contact your opponents, they may have a second umpire who is available. Check who is playing on the pitch prior to and after yourselves, it might be that they have an umpire or a player/umpire who may be willing to help. Build a rapport with another local club who play at a different time to yourselves, it maybe that they have umpires or player/umpires who are able to help you. It works both ways. If you are playing away in a different county it might be worth contacting the local umpiring secretaries. Click here for details.
