Well you're wrong, you are never to young to start blowing that whistle.
There are umpires of all ages starting right now.
It is great fun, you meet lots of friendly people, and it will keep you fit too!
You can get top training, from some leading and experienced umpires.
Remember Hockey is an Olympic sport, so if you start now maybe you can be umpiring in the Olympic final.
